so, ian rolled over from his back to his belly yesterday for the first time! he can now officially roll both ways; however, he does seem to have forgotten that he can get off his belly on his own, and prefers to lay there with his face buried in the blanket and cry. maybe that's more fun, i don't know. he's also gotten quite proficient with his jumperoo, and loves loves loves to jump. boy's going to have some serious leg muscles.
one year ago today, i called to schedule an ultrasound for potential ovarian cysts, since i was having some, um, feminine issues. after scheduling the ultrasound, i decided to take a pregnancy test, just to make sure there wasn't a more obvious reason for my issues. i had taken one less than 2 weeks previous, before heading to st. louis, and it was negative. so, not really thinking anything, i took another one and about had a stroke. without going into detail, it was extremely unlikely that i would be pregnant, so saying it was
ian was on his way.
